Did you get your SheepDip t-shirt yet?  Show your support for great live music!

Spawned from a sandy beach beside a lake in Rindge, NH, SheepDip is comprised of a group of old summer buddies who took to strumming acoustic guitars and drumming on cooler tops around beach campfires about 20 years ago.

Somewhere around 2002 we started to gather in a one room cabin and tried playing electric instruments.  Although it sounded pretty rough, those first attempts at playing electric rock & roll sparked something in all of us.  That cabin has become our regular practice clubhouse and is now affectionately known as the Spillmore East (right).

That collection of old friends has evolved into a grizzled classic rock band that now plays out to packed houses.  SheepDip covers numerous classic rock songs and the list keeps growing.  Look for us in the Monadnock region of southern New Hampshire and come see us!

Our band name?  We stumbled upon it in 1999 during one of those evening campfires and we like it.
The name is good, the friendships are great.

Subject: Sheep dip

Hi,

I've just found your band details on the internet and thought you might be interested to know that I play in a band called Sheep dip too!!

We live and play in the Shetland Isles which is part of Scotland, in the United Kingdom.  We are a 5 piece band who play traditional Shetland/Scottish and bluegrass music.  We have an acoustic guitar, fiddle, mandolin, electric bass, and I play 5 string banjo.

We've been kicking around for quite a few years now but are currently inactive as our female members keep having babies!!

Anyhow, good to hear another band has a sense of humour and happy picking.

Regards

Andy Bazeley
